Description:
Enjoy learning the basics of flatwater river kayaking as spend two incredible days on the Colorado River below Hoover Dam. We'll have a chance to watch shooting stars, enjoy midnight soaks in natural hot springs, eat dinner next to this incredible river, wander into headlmap-lit sauna caves, and bear witness to an extraordinary engineering marvel.
There is a mandatory evening meeting the evening before our trip begins at a hotel in nearby Bullhead City.
Fitness:
This trip is suggested for individuals of moderate fitness level. It is recommended that you have no prior shoulder/back injuries. We will be float paddling 2 miles downstream on the first day and 6 miles the second day. There is a small amount of hiking (under 1 mile) to reach the various hot springs and more hiking if you wish to explore any of the nearby slot canyons.

Cancellation / Refund Policy:
ATS had developed a refund breakdown related to personal cancellation requests. We must receive all requests in writing (email is ok) according to the chart for a refund to be processed.
More than 30 days prior to your adventure -- full refund (less $50 processing fee)
Between 15-29 days prior -- 50% refund
Less than 15 days prior -- No refund (or 50% adventure credit)
This trip may be cancelled due to attendance and/or weather related issues. If trip is cancelled for any of the above conditions, an alternate course date will be offered. If denied, a full refund will be offered. |
