•President / Founder of Alpine Training Services (ATS) •Founder of the West Coast Canyoneering Methodology (WCCM) •24 years rock climbing experience, numerous big walls and traditional first ascents in Zion, the Sierra and Idyllwild. •12 years of canyoneering experience with numerous first descents in Southern CA, the Sierra and Hawaii. •Founder of Hawaii canyoneering including 20+ Class 4 C IV R/X rated first descents on Maui. •Continues to be a lead member of the ATS first descent canyon team •Established the tallest canyon route in North America •17 years teaching vertical rope related disciplines including rock climbing, canyoneering, and mountaineering without a single accident or incident •Professional Fireman from 1990-1999 •Lead Specialty Stunt Designer and Rigger for ATS Filmworks •First Responder medical certificate from 1990-present •Participated and led dozens of backcountry rescues •American Mountain Guides Association (Former AMGA top-rope site manager) •Professional Climbing Instructors Association (PCIA) certified •NFPA 1670 Rescue Rope Technician Certified •100 hours NFPA compliant Specialist Rope Rescue training • Instructor for the Peak Rescue Institute • Co-Founder ATS Tradeworks Tactical Rope Access and Rescue instructor •Established the only canyoneering school on the West Coast •Designer and lead instructor for ATS / Peak Rescue SAR Canyon Rescue training program •Founder of the Ravan Rope System LLC hardware & application •In charge of the ATS employee and partner training evaluation program •Lead designer for the Sterling Rope Company’s canyoneering product line •Swiftwater Rescue Technician Certified (SRT1)

ATS Adventureworks specializes in canyoneering, rock climbing, technical mountaineering adventure courses domestically throughout California, Arizona, Hawaii, Nevada, Utah, Washington, and Oregon; providing international training in Ireland, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Virgin Islands, Canada, Peru, Panama, Brazil and the United Kingdom.

ATS Filmworks provides specialty adventure film rigging and stunts for the film industry including work on the Amazing Race and The Biggest Loser.
