What does E.A.D. stand for?
E.A.D. refers to an Alpine Training Services Environmental Action Day. An Environmental Action Day is more than a day of picking up trash. An E.A.D. is about making new friends and having an action-filled adventure, all while helping the environment!

How much does an Environmental Action Day cost?
Environmental Action Days are currently free! Through the generous support of our sponsors, we are able to off-set all the costs incurred during a regular E.A.D. A short to-bring list and itinerary is emailed out shortly before each E.A.D., but other than that, all you need to do is show-up!

Are kids allowed?
Everyone is allowed! If children under 18 are coming without a parent or legal guardian, then the waiver must be filled out ahead of time and brought on the day of the event.

I missed the last EAD, will there be more?
Absolutely! Look for the next EAD in August -- a backpacking overnight on the Channel Islands. Other EAD's on the schedule cover the curriculums of kayaking, rock climbing, and even mountaineering! Check out the Calendar page fo
r more details.
