  BACK TO ATS HOMEPAGE

What does it take to be an Instructor for Alpine Training Services?

Being an instructor for ATS takes a lot more than technical skills. It requires a desire to inspire people - a desire to provide freedom and personal happiness. Our programs are only of the quality that they are because of our team. An instructor working for Alpine Training Services has undergone dozens of hours of extensive “in house” training, regardless of prior experience. This training program is designed for the applicants to prove their skillsets over time and to build a relationship of trust and care between the all the members of the ATS Team. We require all our guides to have a wilderness medical certification. Once successfully through this phase of training, our instructors are employed as “assistant facilitators” to our discipline specialists.  Evaluations are held after each outing through a series of critical debriefings of the trip where we explore all possible areas to improve on. As our instructors grow into their roles on our team, so to does our company grow.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SHARING AN ADVENTURE WITH YOU!
