ATS Joshua Tree Rock Climbing School

Alpine Training Services offers the most empowering rock climbing school in the Western United States. We will provide you with the skills needed to be out on your own in the safest environment possible. Please read on to learn about our comprehensive course offerings which take place year round in Joshua Tree National Park, Idyllwild, Arizona, and Sequoia National Park.

Course Options:

	Rock Climbing I The Rock Climbing I Course is designed for total beginners or gym climbers looking to move onto real rock. These safe and fun courses focus on building a strong foundation of skills to start your climbing career. Details Price: $135 - $165 Days: 1 Details
	Rock Climbing II This course is a beginner top rope anchor building course. We will spend the first part of the day learning about passive and active anchor systems including cams, nuts, hexes, and bolts. After building and refining anchors at the ground level, we will go atop of the cliffs to build anchors, rappel down, and climb on our handiwork. Details Price: $135 - $165 Days: 1 Details
	Rock Climbing III A more expansive look at climbing tactics and anchor building in preparation for multi-pitch routes and lead climbing. We cover directionals, extensions, advanced anchor building, and self-rescue throughout the day. Much of the day is spent in a vertical and horizontal ground school with minimal climbing.Details Price: $135 - $165 Days: 1 Details
	Rock Climbing Intro Weekend Our most popular program takes the beginner climber or gym climber looking to move outside and introduces them to the world of climbing. Expect a thorough introduction to the gear for climbing, the rating system, route finding, basic techniques, intro to anchors, and more. Details Price: $270 - $330 Days: 2 Details
	Rock Climbing Three Day Climbing School Our popular intensive three day climbing school covers an expanded curriculum of our Rock Climbing II and III courses. During the three days, you will have plenty of time to practice techniques, learn about all types of anchors, and climb as much as you can handle. 	Lead Climbing This is a full-on lead climbing class. The purpose of this course is to educate and instruct a climber on how to safely step into the world of traditional lead climbing. Over the course of two days, we will set up basic lead routes, protected by top rope, and venture into the skillsets required for this version of the sport.Details Price: $270 - $330 Days: 2 Details
