ATS offers an amazing variety of youth programming throughout the Western United States.
Each season, there are countless climbing, kayaking, canyoneering, backpacking, rafting, and mountaineering adventure trips led by ATS Team Members for our younger clients.
Being an ATS Youth Program Instructor is an amazing experience filled with memories to last a lifetime. Join us on this path to enrich the lives of those around us.
Being an ATS Youth Programs Instructor
Age: Team Members must be at least 18 years of age
Medical Qualifications: Must have a Wilderness First Aid certification or greater
Personal Qualifications: Must be comfortable and willing to work with children. Prior experience working with youth in an outdoor adventure setting is encouraged, but not required.
Responsibilities: Instructing courses, teaching new skillsets, cleaning & maintaining gear, developing new programs, having fun.
Disciplines: Our youth programs run the gamut including rock climbing, kayaking, rafting, canyoneering, backpacking, mountaineering. Island adventures in the Pacific, arroyo hikes in Baja, rafting rivers in Colorado, discovering canyons in Utah....
Season:
Summer ~ Full Time
Rest of the year ~ 2-3 Days a week
Compensation: $80-$120 a day, $60 for half day programs

Locations: Based out of Southern California throughout the Western United States, including Hawaii!
